As of June 2021, Guangzhou Metro Group has operated 19 lines with a total length of 676.5km, and 825.7km of lines under construction and planning. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power supply system, the traditional equipment operation and maintenance needs a large number of professional and technical personnel. The rapid growth of the line leads to a huge gap of technical personnel, and the high labor cost also restricts the sustainable development of rail transit.
