Disc suspension porcelain insulators are mainly used for insulating support conductors in high-voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines. According to different polluted areas, different types of insulators, such as ordinary type and anti pollution type, are selected, and the insulator string is formed according to different voltage levels.

Disc suspension porcelain insulator series are divided into: 40kN, 70kN, 120kn, 160kN, 210kN, 300KN, 420kN and 550 kN. It is used in series according to different voltage levels: 3 pieces / string for 35kV, 7 pieces / string for 110kV, 14 pieces / string for 220kV and 28 pieces / string for 500kV. Among them, suspension products with strength grade of 100kN and above are used for insulator strings with voltage grade of 220kV and above.

Line porcelain insulator has a long service history in China, which is safe, reliable and not easy to aging. The service life is generally more than 30 years, and the annual deterioration rate is less than 0.01%.
